KCEX Futures Trading Fees Explained: Maker and Taker Rates and Fee Calculations
2026-08-27 09:39:11
KCEX futures trading fees are categorized as Maker and Taker fees based on how an order is executed. Different execution methods are subject to different fee rates. This article introduces KCEX spot and futures trading fee rates, explains the difference between Maker and Taker orders, and provides formulas and examples for calculating futures trading fees, helping you quickly understand how KCEX trading fees are charged and calculated.
1. Overview of Trading Fee Rates
At KCEX, trading activities are divided into two categories: liquidity providers (Makers) and liquidity takers (Takers).
(1) A “Maker” refers to an order that does not immediately match an existing order when placed. Instead, it remains on the order book awaiting execution, thereby adding liquidity to the market.
(2) A “Taker” refers to an order that immediately matches and executes against an existing order, thereby removing liquidity from the market.
The fee rates for these two categories are as follows:
| Maker Fee Rate | Taker Fee Rate | |
| Spot | 0% | 0% |
| Futures | 0% | 0.01% |
Note: The fee rates for certain trading pairs may vary due to promotional campaigns. For details, please refer to the specific fee rates displayed for the corresponding trading pair on the trading page.

2. Trading Fee Calculation
Calculation formula:
- Trading Fee = Executed Quantity × Execution Price × Trading Fee Rate
Example:
Suppose you sell 1 BTC in BTC/USDT perpetual futures at an execution price of 60,000 USDT:
If the entire order is executed as a Maker order, the trading fee is 40,000 × 0 = 0 USDT.
If the entire order is executed as a Taker order, the trading fee is 40,000 × 0.0001 = 4 USDT.
If the order is partially executed as a Taker order and partially as a Maker order, the actual trading fee payable can be calculated as follows: Taker Executed Portion × Taker Fee Rate + Maker Executed Portion × Maker Fee Rate.
KCEX remains committed to providing users with safe and efficient futures trading services. Thank you for your support!
