Odaily News - nixo.eth posted on X platform stating that Ethereum core developers have adjusted the account abstraction proposal EIP-8141 from "considering" to "scheduled," with account abstraction set to advance as a key feature of the Hegotá upgrade. The EIP was proposed as a flagship upgrade in March, and the community consensus is that account abstraction should be rolled out in the Hegotá upgrade, even though specific implementation details remain contested. In recent weeks, another proposal, EIP-8130, has emerged as a competitor, planned for deployment on Base in September, sparking discussions about avoiding a split in account abstraction standards between L1 and L2. Authors of both EIPs and core developers are working to reach a unified solution without delaying the upgrade.
