Odaily Planet Daily News According to Hong Kong Stock Exchange information, after Alibaba (09988.HK) announced a HK$80 billion new share placement plan, the group's chairman Joe Tsai and CEO Eddie Wu increased their holdings of Alibaba shares by a total of approximately HK$120 million. It is understood that Joe Tsai bought 720,000 Hong Kong-listed shares of Alibaba at an average price of about HK$112, spending approximately HK$80 million; CEO Eddie Wu bought 350,000 Hong Kong-listed shares of Alibaba at an average price of about HK$111.6, spending approximately HK$40 million. Together, the two increased their holdings by 1.07 million shares, with a total amount of about HK$120 million.
