PANews June 26 news, according to official sources, Base disclosed at 00:27 Beijing time on June 26 that the mainnet experienced an outage due to block production issues. The team confirmed that the problem stemmed from an anomalous block interfering with the construction of subsequent blocks, and all funds are safe. At 1:53, the team announced that new block ordering had been restored, internal nodes were syncing normally, and teams running validator nodes need to restart their Base nodes to resume synchronization. At 3:22, the team announced that block production had returned to normal, and various applications and infrastructure were gradually coming back online as nodes restarted. The team has identified the root cause of this outage and will prioritize publishing a full post-mortem report.

Furthermore, The Block reported that this outage occurred on the same day that Base planned to conduct the Beryl upgrade at 02:00 Beijing time on June 26, but it was said to be unrelated to the planned maintenance.
